Smart VBS · appointments and slots
Not a calendar, a capacity engine. Quotas by terminal, block, job type and hour; tolerance window, no-show and late-arrival rules.
Limenis PreGate runs truck traffic inside and outside the port as one flow: booking, pre-validation, truck park, calls from the TOS and the automated gate.
However fast the gate is, trucks that arrive at random, leave with missing documents or are called to jobs that are not ready rebuild the queue.
arrivals create queues at peak and idle capacity the rest of the day.
a missing document, customs or payment issue blocks the lane.
a truck sent to an unready job ties up the yard, the RTG and the driver.
road: city traffic and park occupancy never enter the plan.
From booking to exit, every event joins the same Visit ID: who, when, which plate, which container.
Slot, quota and tolerance window; capacity by job type.
Customs, release, payment, VGM and driver match before the truck leaves.
OCR/RFID entry, a bay that fits the truck, dwell tracking.
Load ready, block and equipment free: the truck is called at the right moment.
Identity + eligibility + safety → timed barrier command.
TOS move, exit permit, fee reconciliation and KPIs.
Each card shows where the module stands today. Start with all of them or with the ones you choose.
Not a calendar, a capacity engine. Quotas by terminal, block, job type and hour; tolerance window, no-show and late-arrival rules.
Manages traffic before it becomes a queue: ETA from live traffic, “come now / go to the waiting area / move your slot” instructions, data shared with VMS signs.
Check in before you see the gate. Automatic arrival notice by location, remote check-in for fully pre-validated trucks.
Reward the hauliers who keep their slots: priority, premium slots, no-show penalties.
The paperwork is done before the truck leaves the depot: customs, line release, payment/demurrage, VGM, plate–driver match, document validity, blacklist.
The camera sees, PreGate verifies. Plate, container number (ISO 6346), ISO type code, IMO label, seal presence and damage; RFID match; PLC barrier.
The right truck, to the right job, at the right second. Trucks called from the park by ready TOS jobs and yard capacity.
No cash, no counter, no delay. Slot, park and road fee accrual; credit/balance ledger; ERP reconciliation.
Measure the idling, cut the carbon. kg CO₂ per visit, engine-hours avoided; measured and assumed values labelled apart.
Not just charts: decisions. Gate time by lane, P90 waiting, haulier performance, management report.
Built for ports where the internet is not guaranteed. The edge layer keeps permitted transactions and the event log running.
One gate logic for road, rail and water. Truck, train and barge movements run on the same rules.
Vessel ETA, block and equipment plan, road load, park occupancy and each truck's expected arrival in one decision loop. The engine decides who comes now, who waits and who moves their slot.
Slot optimisation, queueing models and traffic control algorithms were developed with university academic staff.
The models that solve capacity constraints with mathematical optimisation have been developed.
Waiting in the park and at the gate; the lane count that keeps P90 under threshold.
Bookings per slot under gate, lane, job-type and yard constraints.
Real arrival time from live traffic and history.
Quota and turnaround forecasts from the port's own data.
The call budget does not only count free places; it reserves room for trucks on the way so capacity is never spent twice.
For every suggestion the operator sees: reason · data time · forecast confidence · constraints · model version · approval and rollback record.

A lane designed for non-stop passage: reading, validation and barrier in one verification chain.
| OCR | Front/rear plate, container number (ISO 6346 check digit), ISO type code, IMO hazard label, seal presence |
| Damage detection | Dents, holes and tears; photo evidence attached to the Visit ID |
| Line agent | Detected from the owner code (BIC) and matched to the TOS record |
| RFID | The tag is matched to truck and booking; a tag alone is not a permit |
| Barrier and safety | Timed PLC command, loop / photocell; physical passage confirmed by sensor |
| Weighbridge · kiosk · EIR | Weight check, exception kiosk, printed or digital EIR |
| Exception handling | Low-confidence reads go to a remote clerk screen; the lane keeps flowing |
No mobile app required: responsive web, time-limited link, SMS and WhatsApp. Turkish, English, French and local languages.
Automatic notice and slot suggestion to the haulier when the container is ready.
A fully pre-validated truck skips the office and goes straight to the lane.
Drop an export and pick up an import on the same trip; fewer empty runs.
Cost, revenue, earnings and reconciliation by plate and trip.
Each party sees its own scope; everyone works from the same data.
Pre-validated trucks, calls that follow the TOS work queue and pre-staging suggestions cut RTG / straddle moves and defer gate and yard investment.
An audit trail for every visit, queue forecasts on port roads, data for VMS signs and ESG reporting. Several terminals in one window.
Hold and release status visible at booking; single-window connection (BİLGE, Guichet Unique) and an immutable decision log.
Web + SMS + WhatsApp; missing documents visible before departure; container-ready alerts, QR ticket, dual-transaction matching, profitability and earnings module.
Delivery and release instructions are pre-validated; the line is detected automatically from the container owner code (BIC).
Capacity rules by cargo type and lane; the same single gate logic for rail and barge.
PreGate does not replace your port's systems. The TOS stays the single source of truth; every connection is installed, tested and accepted at your site.

The named systems are connection targets. No connector has passed customer acceptance yet; we will show version, message scope and acceptance result here as each one does. Customer acceptance: none yet.
Interface-first architecture: the gate logic never talks to a vendor API directly. Every connection is commissioned at your site and passes acceptance testing.
Enter your own values: gate capacity, lanes needed, fuel and CO₂ impact are calculated instantly.

years inside ports
Limenis Technology was founded by a team that spent 18 years in container and multipurpose terminals as IT directors, IT managers, system architects and project leads. We ran the gate at 3 a.m. during vessel peaks, sat with customs when systems went down and moved a TOS without stopping a single crane. PreGate is the product we wished we had in those years.
Addresses are published as each office opens.
No. PreGate complements the TOS, which stays the single source of truth. The TOS connection is installed at your site and passes acceptance testing.
The edge layer keeps permitted transactions and the event log running. A transaction that needs a current TOS or customs permit never proceeds as if it had one. If the TOS is unreachable, the last known hold status is used and recorded.
No. A responsive web page, a time-limited link and SMS/WhatsApp notifications are enough. Critical steps ask for identity verification.
Yes. Compatibility is checked during site analysis; existing devices connect to PreGate through the Edge component.
One pre-validated lane transaction with no exceptions: from the truck stopping in the lane to the barrier opening. It does not cover the total port visit, park waiting or exceptions.
Wherever you decide: on your servers, in a private cloud or hybrid. KVKK and GDPR duties are worked out for each installation.
The model follows the port's choice: slot fee, premium slot, no-show penalty or free.
It starts with a site survey and baseline; a shadow run and controlled lane lead to acceptance in 12 weeks. Download the pilot information list and send it to us.
Tell us about your terminal; we prepare a 30-minute demo around your gate's flow.
